Have you said to yourself “I want to sew a bag”, but it seems scary and overwhelming…then come to Janae’ King’s Bag Making Workshop, where she will teach you all she knows about the bag making process. She will give you tips and tricks and even show you how to make a wallet, attach leather handles, and make your own key chain too. Janae has a wealth of knowledge from sewing over 200 bags. She says she can “sew them in her sleep” and we bet she can!
Experience Level: Must already know how to sew, and have basic knowledge of sewing terms. This class is for a strong beginner to advanced sewist. It is required that student be able to run a machine without assistance and feel confident in using a rotary cutter. Under 18 is welcome if very comfortable sewing on their own.
Suggested Book for a Bag Pattern: “Handmade Style” by Noodlehead. See Supply List for more bag pattern suggestions.
You may pick up the Supply List at the store. Supply List also included with registration confirmation.
We ask that you register for a class in advance. Payment is due at time of registration. You may make payment with a credit card over the phone or come into the store. Class size is limited and in many classes, we have waiting lists. If you are unable to attend a class, please call to cancel your class registration 5 (five) days prior to the date of the class.
