2018 BLOCK OF THE MONTH CLUB

Come and join us for the first Saturday Block of the Month for 2018.

This year we will be doing a Block of the Month consisting of 10 blocks.  We will start the First Saturday in March.

This will be a wonderful journey of sewing beautiful quilt blocks each month to create the gorgeous quilt “Cabin by the Lake”.  Each month you will receive a fabric kit with a variety of attractive fabrics of prints and batiks, as well as instruction and guidance as to how to sew the blocks together.  The fabric chosen for the kits will stay with the same colorway as the quilt on the pattern.  You will build your quilt with directions for half-square triangles, use paper piecing for the sun, and a bit of template magic for the cabin roof.  How fun will it be to increase your skills as you build this quilt!

The quilt is by Royal Quilt Designs.  It is called “Cabin by the Lake.”  This is a skills building Block of the Month.  The quilt is comprised of blue skies, purple mountains, green trees, running water and fall leaves.  It even includes a red cabin.  This quilt is 68″ x 92″ finished.

 Kit Cost: $25.00 per month, which includes the 10-Month Block of the Month pattern from Royal Quilt Designs. ($18.00 Value)

Each month the kit will contain the Royal Quilt Designs pattern “Cabin by the Lake” instructions for the month’s block, fabric for the month’s block, and an instructional class by Janae King.

Class size is limited and in many classes, we have waiting lists. If you are unable to attend a class, please call to cancel your class registration 5 (five) days prior to the date of the class.
